The same logic could be applied to extinct and living animals.
They're everywhere, from the deepest ocean trenches to the the highest mountains and beyond. It is they, not the us, who rule the world

The difference is that basically no one cares about plants.

Well that's quite unfortunate. Why don't we get people to care?

That's very difficult. Plants aren't cute and fluffy and will sit on your lap. They also aren't something people can connect with well because people aren't plants.

Well, to be fair, most animals aren't cute and fluffy either, considering the fact that most animals look something like this.

Long dead plants will not survive modern insects and parasites. Even if they could the spores and seeds of plants and fungi could kill important plants causing mass destruction in an environment. Modern animals won't eat them. This has happened with modern plants that have been introduced into wrong environments. Of cours you're already fucking up the environment by added eaxtinct fauna, but the damage is minscule if they stay on the island. The plant seeds might float away and land on the mainland which would destroy ecosystems.

Then prevent plants from escaping from the island. Literally everything you said applies to animals as well.

Okay then, what if they are poisonous, cause allergic reactions to humans, or have some other effect on humans that the dinosaurs are used too. Also how do you prevent airborne seeds from escaping an island while trying to make it seem natural?

How do you prevent birds, insects, and pterosaurs from escaping the island? What is the prehistoric animals cause some allergy? Again, no one has made a good case for excluding plants as everything you have said also applies to animals.

If A bird or pterosaur gets off it's not gonna reproduce and become a problem.
